General Terms
• All sales are final.
• Orders once placed cannot be cancelled.
• Products cannot be returned or exchanged in case of dislike or change of mind.
• THE CHARACTER strives to ensure a smooth and satisfying shopping experience. We take utmost care in product quality and packaging, and do not accept returns or exchanges for products delivered in perfect condition, as per the order.
• We request you to carefully review product specifications and dimensions before placing your order, to ensure the product fits your space and expectations.
Eligibility for Return

Packing & Pre-Dispatch Details
• Before shipping, our team will send you packing images and videos of your product along with shipping details on WhatsApp to ensure transparency and build trust.
Damaged or Incorrect Product
• If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

• Once the complaint is verified and deemed genuine, we will initiate the replacement process. Incase of non-availability of the product, a store credit of the same amount will be provided.
Conditions for Exchange
• If eligible for exchange, please ensure the following:
• Notify us within 24 hours of receiving the damaged/defective/incorrect product.
• The product must be unused.
• Return the product in its original packaging, including all price tags, barcodes, labels, and the invoice.
• Pack the item securely to avoid further damage during transit.
• The product will undergo verification and quality checks to confirm the complaint’s legitimacy.
• If the complaint is found invalid, return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
• Once the returned product is received and approved, we will dispatch a replacement within 4–6 business days, subject to availability.
• If a replacement is unavailable, a store credit will be issued via email or phone.
• Store credits are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Refunds
• In applicable cases, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days, and the amount will reflect in your bank account or credit card statement.
Items That Do Not Qualify for Return or Exchange
• Handcrafted Glass Vases may have natural bubbles—this is not a manufacturing defect.
• Our products are handmade by skilled artisans. Minor variations in texture, colour, or size are part of their uniqueness and are not considered defects.
• Electroplated products may have minor bubbles due to the process—these are not defects.
• Colour variations may occur due to photography lighting or device screen settings—this is not a reason for return.
Warranty
• No warranty is offered on any of our products unless explicitly mentioned.
Stock Availability Disclaimer
• As we also operate a physical store, real-time stock levels may fluctuate.
In rare cases where a product purchased online is simultaneously sold in-store and becomes unavailable, our team will contact you immediately to initiate a full refund.
